Space Mayhem is a fast-paced single player arcade space shooter inspired by the classic game Asteroids.

Blast your way through endless waves of asteroids using a powerful laser. Unlike traditional asteroid games, the asteroids don’t break apart—they are destroyed in one shot. When asteroids collide they can merge to become bigger and also change direction. You can also deploy mines. Don't worry about touching these, just keep your distance when an asteroid detonates one. 

Survive for 30 seconds to advance to the next level. 

There’s no limit to how many levels you can conquer but more asteroids fill the screen with each new level! 

Destroy an asteroid to earn one point. 

You have three lives. 

Your best score and your highest level reached with those three lives will display when the game is over ie when you crash into an asteroid or are destroyed by the blast wave from a mine. 

Controls

• Space / Enter — Start the game
• Left / Right Arrow — Rotate your ship
• Up Arrow — Fire laser
• Down Arrow — Drop a mine 
• Left AND down Arrow — Boost 

You can use WASD if you prefer

HELP

• Left-click the game screen to enable keyboard controls
• Left-click screen to launch full screen
• Use boost to skip controls screen
• Move the mouse to make the cursor visible again
