Game: CAVE RUNNER

This game is designed to be accessible for blind players using text-to-speech, but it is not fully compatible with screen readers. Headphones recommended!

INSTRUCTIONS

• You control a square that moves automatically.

• It starts moving right and switches direction when it hits a wall.

• There are multiple floors with coins on each. Reach the bottom quickly.

CONTROLS

• When you hear a “tut” sound, you’ve reached a hole:

  • Up Arrow = continue on the same floor

  • Down Arrow = drop to the floor below

GAMEPLAY

• Detect metal objects on the floor below. Coins guide you.

• Spikes end the game instantly.

• Some paths are dead ends.

VISIBILITY SETTINGS

• Z = show detected/touched objects

• X = dark mode (only player visible)

• C = cheat mode (see full level)

• - / + = adjust how things stand out (colour and transparency)

LEVEL SELECT

• 1–9 = practice any level (progress resets)

• 1 = start from the beginning

• Progress saves when the next level loads

RANKS

• There are four ranks. The highest rank can only be earned by finishing the entire game in under 5 minutes— you can’t collect all coins and escape that fast.
